Coronavirus symptom and prevention

The primary prevention methods as recommended by the World Health Organization

Understand how COVID-19 spreads:

Covid 19 is transmitted through droplets, as in microscopic water particles emitted from an infected person especially when coughing  or sneezing and in saliva.  The WHO does not know the exact lifespan of the virus, but suggest it can live outside a host for several days. IE: A phone touch screen, counter-top, blanket, cardboard delivery box, cross walk button, etc.

  • Wash hands properly and regularly
  • Avoid touching face
  • Cough and sneeze into a tissue
  • Disinfect common use surfaces frequently (Phones, desktop, counter top, remote controls, refrigerator door handles, etc.)
  • Cover mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing
  • Thoroughly cook meat and eggs
  • Avoid close contact with those infected
  • Avoid public gatherings
